In a landmark move today (22 July 2025), the Energy Commission unveiled the first cohort of Registered Energy Auditors (REAs) under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024 — a pivotal milestone in operationalizing the Act nationwide.

🎉 Among the newly certified are Directors of Optimal Systems Engineering (OPTIMISE) — also Registered Energy Managers (REM) Type 2 professionals — reaffirming their critical role in driving national energy efficiency standards. This follows the recent official recognition of OPTIMISE as a Registered Training Institution (RTI) for REMs.
