Application for conversion to Thermal Energy Recovery Technologist

This form is for the application of conversion to Thermal Energy Recovery Technologist for those that have taken a similar or equivalent course or training either from a University or a qualified Training Provider.  Note that this conversion is only valid for an equivalent course completed within the past five years.

Applicants can request for this conversion, and the decision, if the conversion is successful, will be decided based on the following results:

    1. Conversion accepted.  Based on the modules equivalent, the participant will be awarded TERT Level 1, 2 or 3.
    2. Need for an interview and further clarification/information.
    3. Some missing modules needed to be completed before conversion.
    4. Need for reassessment.
    5. Rejected since not equivalent.

The processing charge to process the conversion application is RM100.

If the conversion is accepted, the following further charges will apply before the issuance of the certificate:

    • Thermal Energy Recovery Technologist – Level 1 (User): RM80
    • Thermal Energy Recovery Technologist – Level 1+2 (Advanced): RM150
    • Certified Professional Thermal Energy Recovery Technologist (Level 1-3): RM250
