Industrial Thermal Energy Audit (ITEA) [6 – 8 April2026]

Thermal Energy Audit Training equips energy managers, engineers and industrial professionals with practical knowledge and systematic techniques to assess thermal energy performance, identify energy losses and improve industrial energy efficiency.

Join OPTIMISE’s 3-day Industrial Thermal Energy Audit and Analysis (ITEA) Training. This programme focuses on conducting thermal energy audits, benchmarking process and equipment performance, analysing energy consumption and identifying opportunities to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Participants will learn practical thermal energy audit methodologies, including process and equipment energy accounting, energy balances, Sankey diagrams, steam properties, fuel and combustion analysis, boiler efficiency and heat recovery.

The training also covers thermal utility system analysis and improvement, including steam generation, steam distribution, condensate recovery, thermal oil systems and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) or cogeneration systems.

Through systematic energy audit approaches and technical analysis, participants will learn to identify, evaluate and prioritise energy-saving measures for industrial utility systems and thermal processes such as reactors, ovens, dryers, tanks, separators and heat exchangers.

This programme is suitable for Registered Energy Managers (REMs), energy auditors, utility and facility managers, engineers, researchers and professionals involved in industrial energy management and thermal energy efficiency improvement.

The course carries 24 CDP hours under the Mandatory Topic for REM Type 2, supporting the continuing professional development of eligible Registered Energy Managers.
