Almost eighty percent of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is contributed by fossil fuel energy use for power generation, industry, transport and buildings sectors*. Solutions to mitigate and reduce GHG to pave the way toward Net Zero Emissions (NZE) must therefore address sustainable energy generation, utilisation and management as the top priorities, apart from management of waste, Agriculture, Forestry and Land Use (AFOLU).
This Community of Practice on Energy Sustainability (COPE-BEST 2024) Workshop on Integrated Energy and Emission Management (E2M) aims to mobilise the energy sustainability community of practice to collaboratively address the grand challenges of climate change through the synergy best practices and innovations in energy sustainability and GHG emission management.
