From over three decades of delivering energy sustainability training, we have compiled survey insights on what participants value most. Here are the Five Key Elements participants look for in an energy sustainability–related training program. 

    1. Accreditation and Recognition, especially for REM Trainings.
      • Registered Training Institution (RTI), both for REM and/or CDP. 
      • Trainers who are Type 1 and Type 2 Registered Energy Managers (REMs).  
      • HRDC accredited trainers enable companies to claim HRDC contributions.  
      • Trainers with professional qualifications  such as PEng, Technologists.  
      • Competency as Registered Energy Auditors (REA).  
      • Registered as Energy Service Company (ESCO). 
    1. Relevant Track Records 
      • Proven track records in implementing energy efficiency projects.  
      • Experience conducting both thermal and electrical energy audits.   
      • Managed small, medium to large scale industry and commercial facilities. 
      • Engaged national and multi-national organisations locally and abroad. 
      • Involved in shaping energy and sustainability acts and policies. 
      • Driven by Innovation through continuous Research & Development (R&D).

      • Comprehensive coverage of designated topics with up-to-date references.  
      • Well-structured and systematically organised in logical progression.  
      • Balanced coverage of concepts, calculations, tools & analytical methods.

The five mentioned elements reflect key considerations shared by participants in our workshops over the past three decades.
