September 2025 marked a milestone month for Optimal Systems Engineering, bringing together over 500 energy and ESG professionals from 25+ countries across industry, government, and academia to accelerate the net zero transition. Throughout the month, we advanced regulatory readiness through EECA-focused workshops and seminars, strengthened international cooperation via ICChEE 2025 and PETRONAS’ Malaysia Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) engagements, and enhanced technical capacity through in-house workshops on GHG accounting, emissions management, and financial sector training for local and multi-national corporations.

We expanded industry partnerships, including In-House REM Training at TNB-ILSAS, to scale sustainable energy management and reinforce our role in knowledge exchange, policy alignment, and cross-sector collaboration toward global decarbonisation.

Week 1 – Workshop on Getting Your Organisations EECA-Ready

    • 4 September 2025. The month began with Getting Your Organisation to Be EECA-Ready Workshop held in with CETM Electrotest Sdn Bhd, equipping organisations with the knowledge and tools for emissions tracking, reduction strategies, and regulatory alignment in clean energy transition management.

Week 2 – Regional and International Engagements

    • 8 – 9 September 2025. Optimise was proud to serve as a gold sponsor and partner of “Bridging Industry and Academia” at International Conference on Chemical and Environmental Engineering (ICChEE 2025), which gathered 200+ participants from 16 countries to strengthen global collaboration on energy efficiency and carbon management. 
    • 10 September 2025. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Zainuddin Manan, OPTIMISE CEO, delivered a keynote on Energy and Emission Management Toward Net Zero at Malaysia Technical Cooperation Program organized by INSTEP-PETRONAS , sharing strategies and best practices in energy management systems with regulators and policymakers from 15 countries.
    • 11 September 2025. OPTIMISE as RTI-REM, shared home-grown EnMS success strategies at the  by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and PETRA that was held at Sunway Putra Hotel. The event gathered about 250 prospective EECA stakeholders.
    • 10-11 September 2025. OPTIMISE conducted an In-House Workshop for Redwood Furniture Sdn Bhd on GHG Emissions Accounting and Management, exploring methodologies and innovations for measuring, reporting, and managing carbon footprints and equipping participants with practical applications of sustainability in the built environment.

Week 3 – Industry-Focused Virtual Engagements

    • 17 September 2025. Virtual EECA Workshop engaged 40 professionals from industries across Malaysia, strengthening knowledge-sharing on emissions reduction practices.
    • 18-19 September 2025. In-House Workshop at Tiarco Chemical Sdn Bhd provided in-depth insights into GHG accounting and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodologies, equipping participants with practical tools for implementation.

Week 4 – Partnership with Bank Negara Malaysia

Week 5 – REM-1 In House Training Partnership

    • 29 September – 3 October. As an RTI-REM, OPTIMISE partners with TNB-ILSAS to conduct In-House REM Training to build technical capacity in energy efficiency and management and to support TNB’s energy transition efforts.

Optimal Systems Engineering continued to advance its mission of driving partnerships for Net Zero, engaging over 500 energy and ESG professionals from 25+ countries through conferences, workshops, training, and collaborative platforms. These initiatives reinforced our commitment to cross-sector collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge exchange to accelerate global decarbonisation and sustainable energy transitions.
