2 Days Workshop on GHG Emissions Accounting [15 – 16 November 2026]
GHG Emissions Accounting Training in Malaysia equips professionals with practical knowledge and skills to quantify, monitor and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, supporting organisational sustainability goals, carbon management and climate-related reporting requirements.
Join OPTIMISE’s 2-Day Workshop on GHG Emissions Accounting on 11–12 May 2027. This training is designed to help organisations develop a systematic approach to carbon accounting and greenhouse gas emissions inventory preparation.
The programme introduces key GHG accounting concepts, including organisational and operational boundaries, identification of emission sources, Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, activity data collection, emission factor selection and greenhouse gas emissions calculations.
Participants will explore internationally recognised GHG accounting frameworks, including the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1, and their applications in preparing organisational GHG inventories.
Through practical examples, participants will learn approaches to quantifying emissions from fuel combustion, purchased electricity, transportation, waste management and other relevant emission sources.
The training also introduces GHG data management, emissions reporting, carbon reduction opportunities and approaches to improving the accuracy, consistency and transparency of greenhouse gas emissions inventories.
This programme is suitable for sustainability managers, environmental professionals, engineers, energy managers, ESG reporting personnel and professionals involved in carbon accounting and greenhouse gas emissions management.
